Mit mehr als 400 Mitarbeitern weltweit produziert STC High-Tech-Materialien, die in Branchen wie Luft- und Raumfahrt, Elektronik, Pulvererzeugung oder Automotive eingesetzt werden.     H.C. Starck Surface Technology and Ceramic Powders GmbH, now Höganäs, offers a variety of water- and gas atomized high-alloyed metal powders that are commercialized under the brand name AMPERSINT®. Our special high-alloyed metal powders include Cobalt-, Nickel- and Iron based alloys, which are optimized for innovative processing technologies as well as are adapted on respective applications. Based on our customers. requirements, we can manufacture AMPERSINT® powders to very special specifications . with an extremely low oxygen and carbon content. We are also flexible regarding the required quantities: our production ranges from small trial batches to mass production. AMPERSINT® metal powders are used in growth markets. Examples include dentistry (dental prostheses) and medical technology, the oil and gas industry (valve housings, pump parts and surface coatings for resistance to wear and corrosion), the automotive industry (valve-seat rings and diesel particulate filters) and in energy generation (fuel cells). Accordingly, our atomized metal powders are designed for use in a wide variety of innovative manufacturing processes, such as hot isostatic pressing (HIP), powder metallurgy (pressing/sintering), metal injection molding (MIM), PTA welding and laser cladding. In addition, we offer under the brand name AMPERSINT® MAP unique pre-alloyed iron-based powders that are used as alternative binder systems for hard metal production. These iron-based binder systems are substitutes to conventional cobalt-based binders and are tailored for the hard metal industry.

Starck Surface Technology and Ceramic Powders GmbH, now STC, offers several powders for welding applications (PTA welding, laser cladding, brazing, cored wire production) under brand name AMPERWELD.
